“And above all,
watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you,
because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places.
Those who don't believe in magic will never find it.”

Three Muses Challenge

The challenge at The Three Muses this week is Things with Wings.
This is what I came up with.
We all have our graces... but sometimes we look at what others have and we don't notice our own. And we already have what we need to be amazing.
The title of this painting is;
We have the key, the wings and the light.
It's also a tribute piece to one of my favorite artists, Mark Ryden

for more things with wings please visit The Three Muses.

  8. Marfi you already know I love this! You are truly amazing. And thank you for introducing me to Mark Ryden. I am now a fan. I love that his work is fine art but with a whimsical and haunted feel. Somehow while I was looking at his paintings the theme from Ghost Whisperer kept playing in the back of my mind!

  12. There is a lesson here. I am probably the world's worst for comparing my abilities with others and coming up short in my own mind. I love the tiny, very colorful wings.
