watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you,
because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places.
Those who don't believe in magic will never find it.”

Tea Party Under a Halloween Moon

It's a special night tonight! The 23rd...the second most magical night in October...it's true, it is written in a spell book, which was given to me by a very wise witch!

The book tells of a gathering that must be held on this night, A Tea Party under the Halloween moon!
Hurry! we are to meet at the pumpkin patch...our guide will walk us through!

Follow along!

Listen close, our guide is saying something.."we've not too far to travel my dears, And there's moonlight & flowers on the way"

but stay close together and don't look to your right..that house is a ghost and has been known to trap unsuspecting travelers.

We must be getting close for there is a glow! Why, it's a Jack-o-lantern, warming up the night!"

our guide must now leave us, we've arrived safely!
we pass by the fairy guardians of the woods.... aren't they beautiful?

Our table is set it's time for tea!

Now pull up a toadstool and have a seat.
What kind of tea are we having?

Caramel bat wing of course!
Here come the sweets..oh I can't wait..
Black magic cupcakes...

Sprinkle dipped ghosts..

and caramel apple cake bites!!!

Oh no, that bothersome Percy is trying to get our attention by flapping his wings!

He wants us to peek in on the wonderful witch that is hosting this party...you see his cousin Oliver is there with her and they have loads of catching up to do.
So let us finish up here and start our visiting...there are lot's of parties to see!
Thank you to Anna from Frosted Petunias for hosting this party and for inspiring me with each new post!
Leave me a comment if you please...there's a give-a-way...not in time for this Halloween, but nice and early for next, lol
goodnight!!!

  15. Well my dearest fairy friend I made it here at last(after spending the morning mopping up a deluge of water left by some nasty ogres). Oh what a delightful walk I had through the woods and I so loved meeting the fairy guardians. The table and treats are bewitching....how did you know I adore bat wing tea? Oliver says 'hellooo' to cousin Percival(I thought I spied him peeking behind the big pumpkin). I think they have plans to make moonlight mischeif tonight. Thank you for sharing your endless magic. I am absolutely enchanted as always!!

  40. "Whose woods these are I think I know. "
For she keeps fairy guardians, and a crow

hehehe…….I couldn't help myself with a bit of amusement when I read about your wood…
I'm sure you've heard this poem before, it's my favourite.
And so I must take my leave now for……

"The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep."

Had a very lovely time here, everything is just so purrfect!

Having a draw for a seashell soldered bottle on Halloween Sunday October 31st/2010, so do try and drop in for a spell and a chance at winning my bottle.
