“And above all,
watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you,
because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places.
Those who don't believe in magic will never find it.”

Spooky Monday

It's time for Spooky Monday again!!!!
I'm still recovering from the amazing Practical Magic party on Saturday! A great big thank you to everyone who fly over for a visit.
So now, lets brush off the cake crumbs and take a walk down yet another slightly creepy,(but mostly fun) path.
Look at this face!
He's one of the spookies that stays out all year.

This beautiful lady is my favorite.
Looks to me like she just gathered herbs and magical roots from her garden and placed them in her jack-o-lantern.

I got this book when I was four, one of my older sisters brought it home and it "got lost"..I still remember hiding it under the sofa!mwahahaha!!!

Anyhow, it has silly little recipes in it and the cutest illustrations...I longed to be her and live her life! and boy did I want my mom to wear a witch hat!!!

I want to share one of the recipes with you today!

See I told you it was mostly fun! Hope you enjoyed yourself and I'll see you later.

  3. I love the look of this book and would love to own a copy to make me smile. I love your Mr. Pumpkin head, her reminds me of a character you would find in the movie "Nightmare Before Christmas" :)

  5. What a darling spookie. And that book looks so inviting, but I'm not sure I'd ever try that recipe, although I have all the ingredients. Well, not hamburger rolls, but a decent substitute.
