The leaves on our apple and pomegranate tree are finally turning color and dropping off the branches. there's a freeze warning tonight too, the first we have had this year.
Last summer, my husband started working for a company that sends him out to different countries..he's home for two weeks, then he leaves again for four.
I had a hard time dealing with it. It got so bad for me I started suffering from anxiety attacks..I thought I was dying!
I couldn't breathe, I couldn't stop being afraid ...then I started blogging, I have to tell you,it has helped me in so many ways!
The support and friendship all of you wonderful people have shown me is staggering!
I will be forever grateful for this.
I'm thankful for my family, of course, it goes without saying, but I am very thankful for you, my dear friends.
I hope you have a delightful day tomorrow, whether you are celebrating Thanksgiving or not.
I hope you and your family have the loveliest of holidays. I'm so happy to have met you and become friends. It's the strength of friends that get us through the roughest of times. I'm happy to be there for you. :) Theresa

Your trees are beautiful! I am so glad you found blogging and it helped ease your anxiety. Happy Thanksgiving!...Christine
ReplyDeleteOh dearest, first of all, thank YOU for stopping by Nowhere and of course at Castles. As I read your post here, I can so identify with the anxiety attacks, AND how blogging has helped. The social network that is started is healing in itself, but as an educator, I have to chime in to say that the practice of WRITING and creating one's one journal WITH AN AUDIENCE is one of the greatest gifts we are accorded as intelligent and creative beings. I am thankful to have met you and I look forward to another fun year of creativity.
ReplyDeleteBLESS YOU AND YOUR HOUSEHOLD, Anita
Happy Thanksgiving dear friend. I am thankful that we are blog friends x
ReplyDeleteDear Marfi ~ I am so happy to hear that blogging has helped you cope with your husband's absences. I can't imagine how I would feel if my hubs was aways that often but it's so nice that you 'feel the love' from others out in Blogland! And you really are loved by others with your creative, free and kind spirit! You are so special! Blessings to you and yours on this Thanksgiving! xox

Girl, that statement above could have been written by me..Since starting my blog two years ago, like you state,,'helped me in so many ways'.
I can't even begin to share about all the changes, the transformation, the peace...I'm definitely not the same woman I was two years ago....
Blessings my sweet beautiful angel!

Good Morning Sweet Friend...
ReplyDeleteI love that the trees here in the valley are starting to show signs of fall. Changing colors and starting to sleep after such a long HOT summer. I for one am happy for a few cooler days. Sort of puts us more in the holiday spirit.
I am so thankful that blogging for you has been such a release with DH traveling. I know that is a load on your mind. It would be mine if my husband had to travel to different countries. I will remember to add you both to my prayers sweet friend.
I love your artistry. So beautiful. Have a wonderful weekend. Many hugs, Sherry
Thanks for visiting me today. No, I do not go shopping on Black Friday. Your trees have turned such a pretty fall color. My sister hadly can wait until this time of year when the shipments of pomegranates come in. They do not grow well here.
