“And above all,
watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you,
because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places.
Those who don't believe in magic will never find it.”

More Spring stuff

Hi
Oh my gosh!
It's been a little bit since I was here
and I quickly wanted to check in with you all.

Ive been trying to keep up with the yard work,
wow did my dad do a lot!!!
I'm really enjoying myself though...
I can feel both my parents
right there with me though.
I recall advice they gave me
and their voices are so clear.

I've also been creating more outdoor goodies.
I have a couple to share with you:)

this was an old bird house that had faded and fallen apart
I painted it and covered it in glass stones and moss.

& this was a plain wooden birdhouse
that just needed to be turned into a fairy house.
Again more moss usage..I love this stuff!

Ok!
Monday I'm having my blog anniversary give away thing-a-ma-bob
that I should have had in January...
So hopefully you'll come back to visit for a chance to win some
silly fun stuff!

Have a great week-end.

  7. The out of doors is beckoning to many of us, I'm glad you heeded the call. Love your whimsical birdhouses and the fact that gardening and yardwork bring you close to memories of your Mom and Dad. Be well, have a great weekend. Oma Linda

  8. As usual, your blog always brings in the fresh Spring air anytime of year. I love your bird housed...the colours are amazing! I'm having problems coming to Blogger...many times it won't show my blog roll and other times, it tells me I'm signed out, which I do every time, but won't let me back in when I sign back in....sigh and a silent scream!!

Have a wonderful week, dear Marfi, and I know what you mean by feeling your folks near by. My mother told me the other day that I talk a lot about my dad and I told her that's my way of keeping him in my heart and memories. I assured her she too will be remembered like that too, but my dad was way funnier!! LOL

    Hugs,
    Georgina
