“And above all,
watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you,
because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places.
Those who don't believe in magic will never find it.”

mini ornaments

How has your weekend been?
It's been very toasty here..
  Monday and Tuesday are supposed
to have a high of 114.
As you can imagine,
we don't venture outside much during these months
I prefer to stay in and create.
..................................................................................................

I finished up a few ornaments I started yesterday.
this first one is made out of Sculpey and pipe cleaners.

I made this with pipe cleaners,
paper flowers and a Lisa Kettell doll face.

This little box ornament holds a tiny girl, glittered trees & stars.

.........................................................................................................

I have to get going now, hope everyone has a
great Sunday.
I'll be dropping by your blogs for a visit really soon.

  1. Love your creativity. In our sweaty season (fortunately a few months away) I hunker down inside and try and do as little as possible.

  2. You have such a great imagination, Marfi. I love how you pair disparate items together and turn them into joyful art. Well done, dear.

Like you, we are finding indoor activities are more enjoyable than the heat and humidity outside. It's fun to see what you come up with when you don't want to be outside. I could take hints and advice, since the kidlets who are visiting are left to their own devices at times, which didn't happen last year when they were here.

  4. I love hot weather, but even 114 might be too hot. Your ornament creations are cute. I love the happy moon with his star. Stay cool!
