How has your week been?
It's been pretty great here!
Our monsoon finally gave us a lot of rain last night
plenty of thunder rumbling and lightning flashing
it was awesome!
We baked toffee cookies and watched a creepy movie.
(This movie is rated R and not appropriate for children)
'Hagazussa'

Lot's of things happened this week,
we have a new pet.
This is Walter.
He was emaciated, terrified, dehydrated and all alone.
He now has his shots and is set to be fixed in a couple of weeks,
(once he gets to a safer weight)
He's so very sweet..doesn't really know how to play with toys
but is steadily gaining
and learning to navigate in a house full of
very large cats:)
We love him so much already.
We went to the grocery store last night and found these!!
I'm so excited to see some more Halloween goodies
popping up around town!!!
This was at Michael's craft store recently
I'll show you what I actually got there later!
...............................................................................
Helena and I made a painted rock village..
complete with a creepy house for the edge of town:)
You can find examples online or
just make whatever comes to mind.
It was a lot of fun.

I think this is it for today,
but I'll see you very soon💖
The weather has been perfect this week where I am on Enders Island in Mystic, Connecticut. Your puppy is adorable. The Halloween 🎃 decorations are great and the rock houses are fabulous.
ReplyDeleteLove your art.
ReplyDeleteAnd huge thanks for welcoming Walter into your home and hearts.
I'm having trouble wrapping my head around Halloween mixed in with school supplies. The items you found were darling, though. Very different pumpkins.
ReplyDeleteHow awesome are those rocks. You and Helena did a great job with the designs and the rocks you chose, too.
Welcome to your new forever home, Walter.
Good morning Marfi. The painted rocks look great. Do you have a fairy garden? I've thought of creating one, but just haven't yet. Great Halloween decorations you showed. I like the one that is the pumpkin coach.
ReplyDeleteA lovely post and so nice to meet Walter, he looks a sweetie.
ReplyDeleteI did enjoy seeing the Halloween items and loved the painted rock village.
All the best Jan
I love the new Halloween backscreen.
ReplyDeleteGive Walter a hug from me!!
ReplyDeleteLove all the Halloween decorations! Is that time already??
Your painted rocks are fantastic!!! Big Hugs!
Oh, I love these! And the Haunted house at the end of the village! Perfect. Keep smiling and creating, thanks for popping by with kind words.
