“And above all,
watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you,
because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places.
Those who don't believe in magic will never find it.”

Now, that's a party!

This is for Take a Word..the theme is, Celebrate.

I usually do the same thing every New Year's Eve..
watch a movie, make a pan of fudge and hang out with my girls.
Nothing too wild..I certainly have never been to a party with a cat playing a banjo:)
Maybe next year!
I hope your night is fun, safe and entertaining.

  1. We've always had a quiet New Year's celebration. Chinese food. Watching Three Stooges or Twilight Zone marathons. We stay up and toast each other with sparkling grape juice when the girlies were little. This year, the Eldest bought a bottle of mead for us to try. I love the black cat being the life of the party. Happy New Year to you!

  2. And what a lovely cat that is! Maybe one day, we'll dance together while the banjo-playing cat scratches a lovely tune.

Happiest New Year, my sweet Marfi!

  3. Wow, your digital artwork is fantastic! Your cat makes me laugh and I'm particularly fond of all the slightly hidden details you've added - it's fun to discover them all. I'd really love a piece of that cake, too! By the way, I'm loving your new banner.
HM and I are staying home and leaving the partying to Burt & Ivy. It's supposed to be -10 degrees here at midnight, burrr.
Have a very Happy New Year's Eve!

  4. Happy New Year's Eve. Our tradition is also to stay in on this night -my husband calls it "amateur night" ;) We'll have cheese ball/beef log/snacks, and we'll watch movies. I'm going to google cats playing banjos, because surely there's some performance artist somewhere who does private parties ;)
