Hi, how's everyone?
Right near the fourth of July, I hurt my back...compressed nerve is what it is.
I could barely walk.
I'd either sit at my desk or lie on the bed,
& lying on the bed wasn't very comfy either.
I would cry with frustration
at not being able to reach for a bottle of water
or walk from the bedroom to the living room.
Luckily I had you all to keep me company
and preserve my sanity.
Your comments are awesome!!
I'm not really super outdoorsy
(especially during the summer)
but I couldn't wait to get out there!!
Since I was feeling a little better....
& after weeks of not leaving my bedroom,
I ventured outside a couple days ago.
Everything looked so bright!!
I was able to save this beautiful butterfly from Magnus' wading pool,
It was very grateful (I'm sure) and flew over to say 'thank you' before flying away.
it was awesome.
When we got home the girls made marshmallow treats.
And you know what was neat?
It was raining the whole time!
Not being able to do anything for so long made me especially
grateful for little moments...
it's hard to believe how much we take
for granted sometimes!
I couldn't even pick up my pup and now he's too
heavy for puppy cuddles!
but that's alright cause he's able to jump up
on the sofa for smooches.
OK, so like I said, I'm feeling better
and I promised you a give away!
it's not huge just a little thank you
to you all, for coming to visit
and not forgetting me:)
so just leave me a comment and you will have a chance to
win
a silly little mushroom wand!
and a couple other surprise treats, I promise:)
I'll choose a winner
on Thursday.
I hope you have a very happy weekend,
and you savor the little moments.
take care!
Sorry to hear you've been poorly. I have been wanting to see 'The Conjuring' for a while now, glad it was good.
ReplyDeleteWhat a super cute wand, and the cutest puppy :)
Feel better soon!
Oh I am so sorry about your poor back! We know all about that. I am glad you are feeling a little better and I hope you continue to improve.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your visit and good wishes for my sister. And I send you bright blessings too! xx
A mushroom wand?!? Oh my, I can only imagine the magic it can create. It's adorable, Marfi. You're adorable.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you're feeling better. I've hurt my back like that before and you cannot move an inch without horrible pain. I cried with frustration too when it happened to me. You feel so helpless. I'd get angry and sad and well, have tantrums but even crying hurt so they had to be controlled tantrums. hahaha I can laugh now, but it was a nightmare.
How amazing that you were able to capture that butterfly on your wrist. Perfect accessory.
Thanks for stopping by today. Glad you enjoyed the tea.
Have a great weekend, friend.
xoxo's
How sweet of you! How I would love a silly little mushroom wand! I would use it for good...heehee! Thanks my friend! Enjoy your weekend! Happy creating! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteFirst, you pup is the most beautiful fur baby EVER! What a gorgeous face.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry about your back. I'm glad it's better, now. I know how hard it is when you can't do certain things that used to be easy--these days I get upset (sometimes) when running 13 miles sounds like a half forgotten dream. But like you, I thank nature to what can still do: running three miles, walking forever, hiking, swimming badly, dancing...
Many hugs!
Oh Marfi, I cannot imagine the pain and frustration you went through. Honey, I am so thankful that you are better! I love these beautiful pictures, that amazing butterfly and OMG!!! That puppy is so sweet and precious. Please, please put my name in the pot for that adorable little mushroom wand. Have a wonderful week, my lovely friend. Mina
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're feeling better. You left the suggestion on my blog of using thrift store skirts for curtains - what a great idea! I just wanted to stop by and say thank you!
ReplyDeleteOh Honey! I'm so sorry you've been in pain!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to hear you're doing better....and I just love the photos! Those clouds (especially rainy ones!) *swoon* and that adorable puppy face! I just want to rub those soft little wrinkles!
Please take care, My Friend!
Thanks for the welcome back, too....I've missed you, as well!
Big, giant (but gentle) Hugs!

I'm glad you were able to get outside and see the sky!
ReplyDeleteI am happy to hear you are feeling better. We do need these set backs to remind us how to appreciate all we are given inthis magical life.
ReplyDeleteIsn't is a little bit sad how quickly puppies grow? But there are benefits to them getting larger. More to cuddle!
