So I was sitting in my studio making some gifties and I happened to look up at a shelf I have and spotted a chenille sock just begging to be something other than just a sock.
So I got to work and this new critter developed. Again I asked Helena what we should name it and she came up with Freddie.
And, I painted and dressed the mini pumpkin and he's going to be dropped off in a while across town!
I think I'm going to start making one thing every week to be dropped off randomly.
This little one is going to go to a house, but the next thing I make will be left at a bus stop.
I'm going to do a guerrilla art post every week!
Oh, the skeleton I dropped off the other day is hanging on their front door in a wreath! Yay!
Have a great day:)

Marfi, your rock, lady!! Love the idea of guerrilla art!! Have you read the Guerrilla Girls Art credo?? It's hilarious. I had a copy in the inside of my locker back when I was in college going for my B.A. in art...now that was just 5 years ago that I graduated, but it kept me from taking myself too seriously...oh yea, as if!! LOL Actually, I showed it to all those baby students who took themselves too seriously, especially the guys!!
ReplyDeleteJust to let you know, I sent your dolly..it's on it's way to sunny Tucson!!
