“And above all,
watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you,
because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places.
Those who don't believe in magic will never find it.”

keeping cool

How are you?

Can you believe it's one month 'till Autumn?
It's pretty hot here still, but that's okay..
I've been keeping busy and staying indoors
creating these little shrines.

It's been fun making them

There are so many options

I have a few more that aren't pictured.
If you're interested in purchasing any of these,
leave a comment or you can send me an email:)

I have an update on Walter.
When he was taken to the vet last month he weighed 8 pounds 2 ounces.
(there were bones sticking out everywhere on this poor baby)
well, now he weighs 9 pounds 10 ounces!
a few more ounces and he'll be at a very healthy weight.

I'm done for tonight,
We're going to watch
The Lion King later..
I like to wait to watch movies this popular
(to avoid the crowds)

Hope you have a great day!!!!

  1. The Summer really flew by. The little shrines are cute. Walter is a cutie, too. Glad he's flourishing under your care. I don't like crowds so wait until everyone else has seen the popular movies. I like having the theater all to myself. Enjoy the move!

  2. Hello Marfi, Those are really cute. Did you make the skeleton yourself with clay? I have tons of altoid tins that I'm been wanting to make shrines with too. I just haven't gotten the enthusiasm to get started. You helped me to get there. Have a great rest of the week. Christine

  3. It looks like you are getting ready for Halloween, Marfi. Your shrines are adorable. I can see many uses for them.

What fantastic news about Walter. How anyone could have allowed that to happen is beyond me. At least now he has found his forever home amid a batch (grin) of very big cats!

  5. These are sweet little shrine dolls. They remind me of a box of tiny 'worry' dolls that my kids had when they were small. Keep smiling and creating.
