Hi!
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday.
I've been absent from my blog for so long it seems....we've had a bit of a struggle
these past few months. Ive been ill since the end of October, with a cold that comes and goes, makes breathing quite difficult at times.
Other things have also been going on that are both frightening and sad.
What can I say, it was a rough year.
(A big thank you to the amazing lovelies that stuck around)
But I'm getting better, feeling hopeful and I'm anxious to get back into the land of blog once again.
Lot's of people have an affirmation or word for the year,
But I can't decide on just one though..how about:
Magical....
or Glittery....
Maybe sweetness....?
Wonder...
Fairyland?
oooh!I know!Magical-glittery-sweet-wonderful-fairyland!!
That's how I want my year to be.
Have you all picked your word or words?I'd love to hear them.
Happy New year to everyone, may this year be an improvement from last.
& may you achieve your own magical glittery sweetness!
See you soon,
Marfi
I was just thinking about you Marfi! I'm so glad to hear from you and to hear that things are getting better in your corner of this globe. I think my word for this year is going to be bravery, or brave. I want and need to be brave in my heart, my resolve, and mostly, my actions. I need to be my own hero (heroine). Okay, maybe the words would be glittery heroine with a brave heart and belief that I can act heroically for myself. This is nice. I like it a lot. Happy New Year art friend, hugs, Norma, x
ReplyDeleteHi Marfi!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you :)
I'm so sorry about your cold you have been battling for the last several months.
Having asthma, I tend to battle them out forever it seems.
So, i feel for you and wished I could zap that cold bug away from you.
I am so glad 2013 is past and I
LOVE your words for 2013"
Magical-glittery-sweet-wonderful-fairyland!!
Those words give me a smile and hope!
Just the way I always feel when I leave from visiting you and your blog.
Big hugs,
~Diane

ReplyDeleteOut of the words you've shared my favorite is WONDER. There's so much mystery to it, isn't there? I think I'm going to borrow it as a favorite for 2013. ;) My word for this year is PERSEVERANCE. Let's see now, if I combine those two I think I shall persevere in wonderland. ;)
Always good to visit with you, my friend.
XOXO's,
Marcia
