There's 71 days until Halloween!!!Let's get busy making some creepy fun decorations!!
Here's a fast, easy project.
This is what you need:
unfinished cupie doll head from Lisa Kettell's
artfire shopan old Christmas bulb
Black, purple, green ultra fine point markers
glittery black fibers/yarn
orange pipe cleaner
black acylic paint
ultra fine pastel glitter
small plastic bat
hot glue gun
glue
Directions:
add facial details with markers,
paint cupie doll hair black, while it's still wet, add glitter, set aside.
wrap fibers around base of bulb, secure with hot glue
cut two 1 1/2 inch pieces of pipe cleaner, attach to base
cut wings off plastic bat, glue to back of bulb, behind the arms
add a bit of glue to tip of bulb, hold cupie head on glue until it sets.
I think most of us have a few burnt out night light bulbs or Christmas light bulbs.
Or you can find some at thrift stores or yard sales, I found a huge container of them for 75 cents.
TIPS:
cut faces out of magazines or print some out.
Plastic bats should be readily availible right now at party supply stores or dollars stores.

ReplyDeleteAgree with Cameron, spooky and cute at the same time, kind of reminds me of Casper, which is one of my favorite ghost faces of all. LOVE IT!!
ReplyDeleteLove Connie and Stanzie too, but I must not leave out Francois. :O) LOVE the whimsical spin on these, it's the only kind of spooky I like, really.
