watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you,

Those who don't believe in magic will never find it.”

My Inner SongBird

Norma is hosting this week's drawing challenge and she chose Paper doll/drama. It has to be a paper doll with the skirt area telling the story...this is the one I made.
I don't know how to sing, not like this anyway:) it's a wish....a talent I do not have.
But I dream it sometimes....I think my songbird is in there somewhere, singing a song only I can hear, safely hidden in my soul.

  6. Marfi, this doll is a sweetheart. I love how there is an image on a skirt within an image on a skirt within an image on a skirt. Graphically very interesting.
I love the colors as well and isn't our little songbird just singing her heart out for us all! So lovely!
I like how her headpiece (so theatrical) tells us her WISH. Brilliant!
Love this piece to bits, *smiles* Norma
    p.s. I can't sing either.
p.p.s. This doll would make a nice 'kit' that you design, where the person gets to fill in the stage part themselves (the kit would have a stash of interesting things to work with...and suggestions...maybe some samples)! Ciao!

  13. She's quite lovely. As she closes her eyes and sings to herself, I can hear the music clearly...
